The logo

The brand name and logo represent an important step in the creation of a business. 
We wanted a meaning, a strong identity and an elegance to stick to our values and those of the artisans with whom we work.
Five elements are hidden in our logo, a bit like the five letters of Plata :)

1. SILVER

Plata means "silver" in Spanish, like the precious metal we use in our jewelry.



Or like the cult motto of Pablo Escobar: "Plata o Plomo" ...

We made our choice :)

2. MEXICO 

The brown, red, green (and white background) of our logo are based on the colors of the Mexican flag.

3. THE PYRAMIDS

The Mayan pyramids of Mexico like Kukulcan (below) or Teotihucan, often have a triangular shape. 
This is the first A of Plata.

4. THE FIRE

Fire is an essential element in the creation of silver jewelry. 
In alchemy, it is symbolized by a triangle. 
This is the second A of Plata. 

5. MAYAN CULTURE

Mayan figures are symbolized by dots and lines: 

You recognize the number 14 around the T. Why this number? 
In numerology, letters have their numerical equivalent: 
P = 7
L = 3
A = 1
T = 2
A = 1
So a total of 14;)
